As the new year started, an organization named Cancer Kids First approached us and asked if we could hold an event together. They told us they wanted to send kind and loving letters to children in the hospital to help spread the hope and love they deserve. We were completely on board and thus began our event "Spread Love 2021".
From January 25th through January 29th, 22 volunteers came forward and wrote over 200 letters to these children. Some goofy and cute, others inspiring and loving. There was a multitude of different cards sent to us and we are so proud to be able to award over 100 hours of service total to these 22 volunteers. What makes us even more proud though, is the sheer amount of support we got for this event and every event preceding it. You, the volunteers, always come forward to help and make a difference in the community and we are so grateful to have a base like ours. Connect is a family now, not just an organization. We love you all.
