This workshop was a huge milestone for Connect Volunteering. With nearly 200 sign-ups from 21 different countries all over the world, this was easily our largest workshop to date and our first event to reach international audiences. For this workshop, I talked to Mikey Halim, the founder of SRELIX, about how he expanded his hobby of graphic design into his career. Mikey is easily one of the most successful 17-year-olds out there. He's been featured on numerous high-level platforms like ESPN and The Seattle Times, while also selling his custom jerseys to thousands of people all over the world. He gave our audience some wonderful advice and talked us through his journey getting to where he is today. Unfortunately, near the middle of our workshop, we faced some difficulties with random people raiding our call and spamming nonsense. But as always, we persevered and got through it. After removing the spam, Mikey continued with his interview and the audience continued paying attention and giving him the respect he deserves. At the end, we opened it up for any questions and let Mikey answer all of them. It really was a wonderful experience for all of us, including Mikey. Being able to share experiences and help others chase their dreams is something we all wish to do and Mikey did just that. Thank you Mikey.
