At only the 9th public volunteering event held by Connect Volunteering, we've somehow donated over 3,000 items (3,002 to be exact) to homeless shelters, hospitals, houses, restaurants, and more!
This means that over the course of our events, we've donated an average of 333 items at every event. Even more remarkable is it only took us 3 months to go from 2,000 items to 3,000 items donated. To put this into context, 1,000 items to 2,000 items donated took 6 months to complete and our first thousand items took 3 months to complete. It goes to show how truly amazing our community is and how dedicated you all are to helping the world become a better place even through a global pandemic. We're growing to huge heights and it makes me so proud to be a part of such a caring and loving community. Thank you.
Items donated include masks and gloves for homeless shelters and hospitals, letters to frontline workers, letters to children in hospitals, toys to children in hospitals, clothes for homeless children, candy to houses in the community (for Halloween), informational flyers to houses (to spread awareness), and more!
We love you guys so much, thank you for helping us reach this huge milestone!
