September Mental Health Awareness RECAP

Updated: Oct 13, 2021

As another event comes to a close, it's a great time to take a breath and admire all the work you've done with us. Whether you volunteered, donated, or simply cheered us on, you made a difference and we thank you for that. Come on, be proud! You're amazing!

This event was dedicated to encouraging those struggling with mental health issues to see the bright side of life again! We wanted to remind them of the beauty of their lives and the impact they've made in the countless lives they've touched. We are so proud of you all for just being here, reading this, taking it all in. Life is hard and complicated. Bad things happen and it's so easy to feel unmotivated and angry. It's easy to struggle with confidence, anxiety, and so much more. It's easy to fall down. It's hard to get back up. It's hard to recover. It's hard to move forward. That's why you don't have to do it alone. You're never alone! Even if you feel that way, try to look around and appreciate those who are there for you. If you truly do feel alone, remember that the Connect Community is ALWAYS here for you. It's a place you can call home. We love you.

So, whatever happens, keep your chin up and head held high. Conquer the day with a smile on your face. When you're down, get back up. When you're struggling, get help. When you feel alone, look around! Team Connect is here for you.

Thanks for the read,
