September P.P.E. Drive RECAP

From September 27th through September 30th, our volunteering base came together to donate over 230 items of Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.). Over 190 masks were donated along with 40 nitrile gloves! We did not advertise this event nearly as much as our previous events, in fact, we only announced it 4 days before the event actually started. With such a low amount of publicity paired with a shorter event (only 3 days instead of 5), we expected a minimal amount of support and donations. Yet once again we were proven wrong, with volunteers taking time out of their day to come by and donate whatever they could. That means the world to us and we are forever grateful for our Connect family. All donations will be delivered to hospitals and shelters in need of supplies!

"Yet once again we were proven wrong, with volunteers taking time out of their day to come by and donate whatever they could."

One of the biggest highlights of this event was reaching over 1,000 items donated through Connect Events. Before the event, we were at 938 items donated.but on the first day of the drive, we received 75 items, which brought the total up to 1,013! By the end of the event, we raised that number up to 1,168.
