In every event Connect Volunteering organizes, there is always one volunteer that goes above and beyond to help the community around us. In the event "June Shoe Drive", that outstanding volunteer was Paul Aluas. Paul is a rising senior at Eastlake High School in Sammamish, Washington. He's been supporting us since day one and honestly is one of the most reliable volunteers we have. He always contributes in any way he can at every event and invites his friends to help out too! Paul is a really nice, thoughtful, and helpful person who has impacted a countless number of people both inside and outside the world of volunteerism. At this specific event, he donated the most pairs of shoes, even coming again later to donate more. With hundreds of other volunteers doing amazing things at our events, it's all the more impressive to think about how awesome and consistent Paul has been for the last year. Thank you for volunteering with us Paul, it truly means the world to us.
