Volunteer Spotlight: Sarah Weiss

After a couple of months of hiatus, Volunteer Spotlight is back! In every event Connect Volunteering organizes, there is always one volunteer that goes above and beyond to help the community around us. In the event "Connect Earth Week", that outstanding volunteer was Sarah Weiss.

Sarah is a junior at Eastlake High School in Sammamish, Washington. She has volunteered with us since our very first event and has always contributed huge amounts to help support us, the people around her, and the community as a whole. She manages to do something at almost every event and encourages those around her to get involved. She always comes with a smile, a great attitude, and makes sure she helps in any way she can. At this specific event, she planted 50 seeds in her backyard when we only asked for 2-10. The second highest amount planted was 25. Only half of her amount!! As usual, she went above and beyond, this time helping the planet and environment prosper. With hundreds of other volunteers doing amazing things at our events, it's all the more impressive to think about how awesome and consistent Sarah has been for the last 8 months. Thank you for volunteering with us Sarah, we love seeing you support our little non-profit.

Thanks for the read,

Rajdeep Das, Founder and CEO of Connect Volunteering
